Lead Abatement

An additional component of surface preparation and protection is lead abatement. TBS Contract Services is PCCP (Painting Contractor Certification Program) accredited for its work associated with the removal and handling of hazardous materials such as lead.

Lead abatement services are provided to the oil and gas industry and roads and rail industry clients.

Due to the hazards associated with lead activities, comprehensive procedures, custom containment designs, waste extraction and management, hygiene and environmental monitoring are essential. All personnel are trained in lead awareness and perform safety and environmental analysis to ensure all hazards have been identified and appropriate controls implemented.

The public are also informed of such work � and provided with data to let them know that our controls are protection both public health and the environment.

TBS Contract Services liaise with environmental and health and safety regulators to ensure all appropriate licences and permits are held.
